Thanks for the information. My last turn saw two of my AFV's get five hits on the T-34's (I presume the red cross on the target means a hit but no effect), with no kills, and another of my Panthers was destroyed, as was a Stug IIIG. I think I'll take a break from SB's AFV scenarios for a while.

I understand Squad Battles games are not ASL. But, there are certain hard data facts which I would assume would behave in a similar way. Such as a T-34/85 firing its main armament at a Panther located in woods, over ten hexes away, and the T-34's are moving/firing. I know the front/side/rear target ...

The Battle of Narva scenario reminds me of Alesia, where Caesar had double lines of fortifications, facing in and out against the Gauls. My opponent and I just finished playing this scenario. We got to turn 21. I played the NA side. The scenario is interesting with the Swedes able to cross the river, and having fire ships/rafts providing bombardment support, the NA (Saxony and Russians) have a large army, but some of it starts fixed....

Thanks for the info Mark. I'm taking a trip to Branson in June, hoping to visit some of the battle sites. I visited Pea Ridge a long time ago, sounds like it has been improved.

I'm playing the Campaign Ozark scenario 09 Prairie Grove H0500a and have been enjoying it quite a bit. The map is large, and small battles develop over many parts of it. I'm not sure how historical it is, but it is a fluid situation, and both sides seem to have enough forces to have a chance to win....
