That's a manually entry in the installer setup and likely an oversight, so the in-game menu is correct. The Windows entry will be corrected with the next round of updates.

Yes

Check your Settings menu, first item "Prompt for scenario". You likely have that deselected. This would not reset with a reinstall, as it is retained in your registry.

Pretty sure he was referring to the designations of the games as it refers to the current versions. Can't imagine why the vast majority of the people would want to play 3 year old games, with all the changes going in. So not making it clear that WDS versions are supported is a draw back.
