Re: Combining/breaking down units - thoughts?
I'm having a great time revisiting Panzer Battles North Africa. I'm currently playing the Corinth Canal air assault and not surprisingly the fallschirmjagers are spread out everywhere. In my first play through I've attempted to link up (combine) the platoons into their respective companies for grea...

Re: Spring Awakening
I waited a few days to see if others gamers had any opinions on this point however it looks like I'm a old gamer frozen in time. Don't get me wrong I greatly appreciate the upgrades to the various games library and will continue to purchase new releases. Regarding the creation of larger campaigns b...

Re: Spring Awakening
Also as in Panzer Battles will some units have a left sidebar with yellow for recce. green engineering. blue heavy weapons and red for indirect firing units might as well go the full monty. That isn't planned at the moment. It was more important in Panzer Battles where there were many more units in...

Re: Boats
I have got it to work without any issues (testing in Moscow '42 scenario #1206_03 Klin-Solnechnogorsk Front Offensive : The Right Wing). There is a Soviet engineer with boats in hex (38,17). There is an infantry battalion on the other side of the full-hex river in hex (38,19). To use the boats, you ...

Re: Panzer Battles for Panzer Campaign Players!
Very, very nicely done. Lovely way to help a Panzer Campaigns player understand the differences and similarities. Nice use of the rules at the same time. Finally, nice to hear another Aussie accent!

Re: Spring Awakening
All that has been changed is that the static counters have been removed and dynamic ones added. This brings it in-line with other series like Panzer Battles and Strategic War. And no, it is not selectable in any titles.

Unonimus is correct.
This was requested by Ed, the lead developer of the First World War Campaigns series for use on those titles. It is not used in Panzer Campaigns, to the best of my knowledge.

Re: A New Gane Series?
A new title is in development concerning the Boer War, but I don't know if it's the first title of a new series or what. It looks to be at the scale of Squad Battles. I can't give any particulars about it, as all I know about is from screenshots from an article posted on another website. There's a ...

Re: Attached Artillery Unit
Thanks for the quick response! In that particular scenario there are other Soviet units that are "attached". But it is not an issue as they are direct fire ATG - ie don't use spotters. I'm guessing that attachment of indirect fire units is a possibility for players and scenario designers....
