If you open the .scn file with a text editor such as Notepad, you can see the file name of the OOB file near the top of the file. Example below is from France '40. The scenario file is #0510_01A_Campaign_WDS.scn and the OOB file is France_WDS.oob.

Another question if I may. I would like to make the text in the scenarios larger and easier to read. Especially the text in the unit icons is giving me a headache. Is there a way to do this, apart from changing the resolution of the entire game?

If you are referring to the unit boxes on the side bar, it is not possible. Many people have made the same comment. You can try changing the resolution of the game as you said, or you can try using the Windows magnifier tool. Those are the only options I know of.

The magnifier tool does work incredibly well for this purpose.
