Wargamers Club for Gentlemen

Post by RussellGardener1964 »

Hello all,

Very sad news that The Wargaming Society has closed its doors. I wasn't a long time member, but I had been a club member for about a year and had enjoyed some tremendous games against other members.

This is just a little plug for Wargamers Club for Gentlemen, whose doors are always open to keen new members. Markus (The Mack) and I are WGCG members and we would be delighted to welcome new members, especially anyone from TWS who may be looking for a new club to join.

WGCG doesn't specialise in any particular games designer or any particular period, and there is ample scope to increase the range of WDS games played by the membership. I'm currently playing Renaissance, Thirty Years War, American Civil War, and Seven Years War battles against club members.

Oh....and you don't actually have to be a gentleman in terms of sex or gender to be a member. It's just about gentlemanly behaviour :D .

Kindest regards
Russ

I was just about to post a "plug" for your club. I like how you cover many, many games and the club seems well set up.

Best of wishes to you folks in drawing new members from the WDS forum. <THUMBSUP>
