Trying to understand how points are awarded for losses but must be missing something. This is what I see when I open the editor for Gettysburg's "!HISTORICAL 1.1.2 Oak Hill"
Based on this from the editor manual:
?The Point Values for Union and Rebel Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and Supply are
the Victory Points awarded for each strength point loss suffered by that side for that
type of unit."
Shouldn't you get 10 points per infantry loss?
But this is the score I see in a game I had going:
Sooo... what am I missing. for the Rebs 465 losses abut only 186 points.
Point Scoring
Re: Point Scoring
A "Strength Point" is defined in the PDT file as 25, so there will be 10 points awarded for each 25 man casualties in the current example.

Re: Point Scoring
I'm probably missing something too, because I don't understand how the Union has lost 0 artillery, but has suffered a 600 point loss.
Re: Point Scoring
That's artillery that has become uncrewed instead of being outright destroyed... The points are awarded but the guns remain on the map.
