Is there a way to determine what version of the game you have without loading it?

If you still have the most recent install/patch file, the version number is normally part of the name. Otherwise, not that I know of.

I keep a spreadsheet of all of my WDS titles including their date of purchase, key, order number and version number. It's a bit anal, but it helps me to keep track of what needs to be upgraded as I have 87 games and demos.

@PopeAdrian, the initial setup is tedious and time consuming, but once you have it done, updates, which are basically one entry (version number) takes 10 - 20 seconds. Well worth the chore of setting it up.
