Once again we bring you a post from a guest author. This time we switch to the Modern Campaigns series in which the article is a pre-view of new content that is coming in the near future. Certain Strike '87 should be an enjoyable read for all those interested in this time period, and what (easily) might have been.

The more the merrier! On par with Danube Front '85. Great addition.

Testing going well so far with experienced players. Two games running, both completely different which is always a promising sign!
Too early to tell on outcomes, looks like WP has had some early luck in one and fairly even in the other.

Interesting, I think MC has a lot to offer, apart the 1985 alternative line, move to more historical wars BUT with what if as complement to expand the options.
Focus in 1985 line... one thing i miss, apart other globe areas, is the lack of scenarios covering very late period of war, after initial battles and the next phase (stop Soviets, local NATO counterattacks) i want see a more "dirty war" with 2nd and even 3rd line units from WP and appear 2nd line and minors from NATO, i dont expect something Mad Max but something in the line of last PzC where you need mass more low quality troops to made the same you did in first moment of war... or not because units simple break easier.
I really enjoy a lot titles like Schletd44, Budapest45 and Spring Awakening45 because they offer me something different, less well know, more chaotic and more fun.
Every new scen is wellcome but explore a little more situations outside first contact and made a what if even more what if.
