Has anyone Won this battle from the American side? I am playing the ALT scenario because it seems to be closer to the historical beginning and even just 4 turns in, it is looking like this is one that I have very little hope even against the AI.
Anyone?

Still interested in what any others have to say about this scenario. Im more than half through it now and I may have spoken too soon, its still up in the air somewhat. I'd love to hear anyone elses experience with it.

Hi, I've played this scenario a number of times and defeating the British AI is very difficult because of the poor quality ratings of the Patriot Militia. I've found that pulling back the militia wing and moving forward the Continental units in reserve can prove helpful. It reduces the Patriot frontage, but, will create a stronger front to defend with. Keeping the militia in good order while having them make meaningful contributions is a challenge.

Agreed Bart. That is basically the only play I could see and I have formed up using the reserve units and atm am still holding all VP locations but the British are now trying to flank my right wing through the woods and so I am scrambling a bit to cover that area. It did also help that I was able to get my cavalry units behind the british command and create some havoc there with their artillery and supplies.
