Hi.
The mod works smoothly with the latest version of the game.

The problem you show is derived from the game graphics system. The unit counter is opaque. The mod simulates some transparency using as background the background of the counter the average color of the terrain. That's why the unit graphics are designed to be used together with the mod terrain.

If you are interested in using the unit graphics with the original map (which I don't recommend, mine is prettier :D) the solution would be to modify them in a drawing program like Paint by changing the background color to one more terrain compatible.
