In some games, by other companies, setting the AI on a higher processing speed will hinder its' performance. In this game you can alter its' speed with F keys faster or slower. Will changing the processing speed change its' performance? Also, can you change the processing speed any time during the game? I'm tempted to change it to slower if that will help the AI to make better decisions.

No, using the F[#] keys to speed up or slow down the action will not impact the AI performance in any way.
