Submitting a Help Desk Ticket

Post by rahamy »

There are two ways you can open a Help Desk ticket, or Support request:

1) Fill in the form at the bottom of our Support page, or the "Ask a question" form on any of the Product Pages.

https://wargameds.com/pages/support-wds

2) Send an email directly to HelpDesk@wargameds.com - this is the best method if you need to send in an attachment.

If you are reporting a problem with the functioning of a game it is best to include a save game file that illustrates the problem and will allow us to load it up - quickly define the problem - and fix it. This lets us see all the relevant information and removes any need for guess work on the programmers part. A game file is infinitely better than a screen shot.

Another important point - state the game you are talking about, and the version number you are using. :D

I have a dozen games originally bought from HPS years ago. I got their upgrades in 2019 (msi files, with serial numbers). I'm at a loss as to how to upgrade them to the latest versions.

Robert, we'll reply from the Help Desk. Best to not post your personal info on a public message board, so I edited your post to remove it.

'Bug report' Alamein42 Version 4.05.1.
After first PBEM game ended in a draw, the splash screen came up and music played. However on going out of this and starting a new scenario, the music continued playing, necessitating a restart to get rid of it. Not a major issue but thought you might want to know.

It's always been like this. I just checked an earlier version. We will see what can be done to stop it once the scenario selection menu is opened.
