I own a deck of Bicycle playing cards. Does that count?
I own most of the games lacking only one of the Naval series and perhaps one or two others.

Man, how do you all have time to play all these titles? I have 3 PzC titles and I'm struggling to manage 1 PBEM game in Salerno and 2 single player games in Smolensk and Normandy. When you play, are you not watching the opponent/computer replay at all and then just blowing through your own moves? It's going to take me a few years to play out the all the worthwhile scenarios and variations in each of these titles. I can't imagine adding more titles and playing more simultaneous scenarios at this time.
I find in the larger scenarios it takes me quite a bit of time (sometimes days) to get through all the units and consider orders for each counter. I usually put in several hours a night 3-4 nights a week playing PzC. In the offline games I have to usually save the game part way through a move cycle as I don't want to rush anything.
And in the case of my PBEM, I have to leave the computer on with the game up overnight since in PBEM games, the option to save is disabled. I fear the day I have to leave the computer on overnight while being partway through a PBEM move and there is a power outage or one of my kids fiddles with the computer and shuts down the game.
All in all, to me playing PzC is like playing chess on steroids... It's a lot of fun but does take up huge amounts of time if you take the game seriously, as there are a lot of things to consider with each and every move phase. I admit the idea to own more titles is tempting, but I would just feel overwhelmed at the moment and it seems with the dozens of scenarios that come with each title I should be set for a long while before there is true boredom and a lack of passion.
But it makes me wonder... I'm fairly new to PzC... so is my lack of experience making it where I am just playing too slowly? If you are veteran player, can you just make moves faster using gut feel and instinct without all the over thinking and analysis?
Would love to hear the thoughts and comments from the veterans as well as the newbies like me.

As I stated I own 93 titles (including the demos). I have 14 PBEM going now from all eras. I just fluctuate in time periods. To me all the WDS are like my old board wargame collection of SPI titles from the 70s. I used to have over 500 board wargames at one time. I probably have over 300 PC war games but I mostly on play WDS ones, SPWW2, SPMBT, WITE2, and some testing for V&V and a few others.
But WDS is the itch to my scratch of old board war games.

As Stikidu said, some of us are a bit of collectors as well. I have a bunch of titles that I haven't played any scenario in yet, although I usually at least put up a small one and poke around a bit.MisterMark wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 12:55 pm Man, how do you all have time to play all these titles? As for PBEM turns taking a long time, the "Save" function being disabled is an option. Obviously, it's one you and your opponent have to agree on, but in the Settings menu you can check or uncheck "PBEM No File Save". I have never played a PBEM game with that option checked. And you are quite right, the larger campaigns can take hours to complete a turn and I think most players would not have a problem with you saving during a turn and coming back to it later.
I've only been playing WDS games a little over three years, most of that time with PzC. I don't think I can offer any tips for speeding things up. Some games I have labored over, not only the moves but keeping track of units that need rested, their fatigue levels and such. Others I just play and don't worry so much about all the details. With the larger games I do find it's useful to keep notes or something so I can remember from one turn to the next what I was doing with such-and-such division. I have yet to find a really good system/tool for doing this, though. I've used Excel sheets, screen captures of maps, etc. but it's all very labor intensive. And we all make mistakes! I don't know how many times I've moved a unit and then said to myself, "What the hell did you do that for?"
