How to fire with USS Ticonderoga?

In the MAP Demo there is a scenario, Flight School 13 - Naval Ops, were scenario briefing say it's possible to fire at the land based targets
with the cruiser USS Ticonderoga:

"...Use your fighters to attack shore targets while at the same time launching a cruise missile attack from your cruiser, selecting RGM-109C cruise missiles and right-clicking targets to do so...."

Well I have tried that but I can't get it to work. Every time I click on the USS Ticonderoga, select the ordnance in question and then right-clicks a target it only causes the ship to change course towards the target.

So how do you get the USS Ticonderoga to fire it's RGM-109C cruise missiles at a target? I can't find anything covering this in the game manual either.

Try doing Ctrl + right-click. The briefing could do with an update.

To manually fire on the target, right-click on the target while holding down the Control (Ctrl) key.
