Always used a nail clipper myself. The trick was to just take the very tip off.

Am working on a large scenario for SBWW2 West Front, set in Sicily 1943 during Operation Husky. Location is the Ponte Olivio Airfield, Airborne troops have taken the objective, but they have to hold it while the main US forces show up from the beaches. Some bad guys from Italian 4th Livorno Division and a mobile force as well as Fallschirmjager elements from Herman Goering Division bear down on them! Let the games begin! Hoping it will be great for a team play, large map too
