Problem running campaign games

Hi Everyone
I cant get the campaign games for Tsushima Jutland or Guadlacanal to open properly. Although there is no problem with Kriegsmarine.
All I get is a blank box and mostly a line saying 'error opening campaign data file: campaign.cpd'
All games are 4.03.
Can anyone help fix the problem?

None of those games currently have campaigns (nor does Midway). Wolfpack is the first Naval Game to have the Campaign Function included.

It's possible to make campaigns for them, but there are none currently.

Like Gary said, there's no campaign files included. We did include the exe's in the event someone wants to create their own campaigns though. Hopefully in a future update something can be added in for the older titles in an official update.

Shouldn't a dialog box pop up if someone tries to start a campaign with no campaign files available? The message would explain why you can't play your desired campaign.

Yes it would be a good idea. I assume the campaign idea was part of the original games that was never developed further.

The opposite actually. The Campaign Engine wasn't included at all with the earlier games, but as all the games are kept to the same programming standard, when it was added to Wolfpack, the function also went into the older games.

As Rich says, we're looking at going back and adding some campaigns, but that is well down the road.

I see. Good idea to incorporate it into the other games anyway.
