I've been delving into the aircraft.dat values to understand the file structure and hopefully "port" some of the WOV/WOM planes into the Modern Air Power demo and vice versa for a personal 'megamod' and create hypothetical scenarios to play around with, etc.
The values for WOV/WOM are easy enough to understand as they follow a single 'parameter = value' the whole way through the database:
WOV's A-1E:
A-1E 1 579 345.234 207.14 300 1143 800 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0.2 0.4 0.7 3 6
MAP's F-15A follows roughly the same structure, but it has 3 zeros before the dogfight, vulnerability and AA values, which i don't understand what they do.
F-15A 1 8421912 1104.75 552.374 2070 2876.95 719.237 0 0.2 0 0 50 60 0 0 0 0 0 0.9 0.1 0.2 30 5
These values in bold/underline are the ones I don't understand. Could a WDS dev shed some light here?
On a related note, the MAP aircraft.dat has a '5' on line one, whereas WOV/WOM don't.. not sure what that's about either.
If anyone wants to compare and understand the values better, I compiled a handy google sheets file here which neatly maps out the aircraft.dat values in MAP vs Vietnam/Mid-East.
