Cold War Squad Battles

Hi, have you ever thought about creating a squad battles game set in 1985 on Danube Front? or Scandinavia?

I'd love to see a Squad Battle Game based on the Modern Campaigns series. I'd also love to see a Scandinavian front represented in both game series in the 1985 setting!

There is a Red Star Over Europe mod game out and about. If you post on the Squad Battles forum, someone can probably get it to you. Google search will possibly get you there as well. Very well done, as I recall.

Found it on Task Force Echo. Sadly it's 2D only it seems as it's a mod for SB Vietnam. I only play in 3D view. Thanks for the tip though!

Whatever happened to that modern Panzer Battles title that I seen screen shots of? Is that in development, or was it someone just showing off their artistic skills? It didn't look as if it was Squad Battles, it looked more like Panzer Battles, but it was at the tactical scale and looked interesting.

This screenshot? It was from a prototype of an Armor Battles title. At one point Aaron of Bolt from the Blue was creating this, but it is currently on hiatus.

There are some mods for the old John Tiller's Campaign Series about modern/cold war era if I remember correctly. Cold War Europe is the one that springs to mind.

Yeah Verdun1916, it's just called Cold War Europe and it is a Mod for John Tiller's Campaign Series. Good mod too!! I've played it a few times.
