Really enjoyable read. The discussion on optional rules has made me reconsider my use of a couple. Also, why have I never thought to turn off 'Leader on Top' to find any unescorted leaders and/or supply wagons? It's SO obvious. :)

Well done, I for one hope you continue with other series. OR negotiations can be an essential part of the game. Thanks for agreeing (and disagreeing) with me on which OR to use.

Excellent article! Given the amount of useful info, particularly on the OR's, consider popping it in with the game manuals.

This is very helpful, thanks. I look forward to the rest of the series. I'm glad you started with Napoleon since it is the era where I am least sure what a battle is 'supposed' to be like.

Thank you, that is really first rate. The discussion about the intent and interaction of the optional rules really helps in understanding game set up

Thanks, very interesting and useful. She taught me how much I still have to learn and how many mistakes I make.
