No marching sounds?

I have tried all combinations of sound options with no luck. In the game folders I have found marching sound files but they do not appear to be used? For reference I only own Campaign 1776.

That's correct, this engine only has sounds for weapons firing our the background files. The movement files got in there at some point but are not used.
