Posted a short clip of a coordinated air strike on the Kido Butai to Youtube:
To view the video full-screen/HD, you'll have to click on "Youtube," directly above.
I'm pretty green to YT, the game recorder and the Windows video editor app, so patience is humbly requested!

Nice...4 strikes at once! Got a busy air space there for sure!

It's actually four packages made up of eleven missions, and that doesn't include the PBY and B-17:
The B-17 are really crucial, because they force the AI ships to begin evasive maneuvering.
At that point, the ships can't launch more CAP, and what's actually up gets overwhelmed.
Ah, the finer points of crushing the enemy!
Re: Hell From Above
Now that was cool to watch!
Re: Hell From Above
One aspect of the game I enjoy is the real-time element. There are times when air-strikes appear to be just crawling along through the sky. Well, in real life, it was kinda that way. The SBD was the best dive-bomber in the world in 1942, but it was still a bomber, a flying truck loaded with a high-explosive device. They lumbered along until they pushed over, one at a time, and went in for “some payback.” Midway depicts that reality as well as any game that there is.
Re: Hell From Above
Nice! Is the scenario that easy to win?
Re: Hell From Above
Hah, give it a try

You can win the game, LarkinVB, but it'll take some training. There's definitely a learning curve involved in picking up the routines. The prize only arrives when you've got your processes nailed down. From there, the proggy takes over and you can smash the enemy.
