Indeed, there is. I was born and raised in Akron (LeBron James, Steph Curry and I were born in the same hospital. Which one is not like the others?), graduated from law school at Ohio State where i met my wife when she was an undergrad. My daughter went to Columbus as a legacy of both her parents and got her degree a few years ago. My residence in greater NYC is because of my job as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn from which I retired a year ago after 38 years. I still get back to Ohio fairly regularly as my mom and other members of both my wife's (Norwalk was her hometown) and my family still live there. I guess you could say that after almost 40 years away I'm still a Buckeye through and through.PaulSan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 4:11 pm mjhbuckeye, I do have a stupid question for you. Is there any special meaning to your name? I live in Ohio, the 'Buckeye' state. Initially, a few weeks back when I saw your name, I thought I had found someone living close by, but I see you live in New Jersey. So, is there any special meaning to your name? Just curious.
I think is safe to say that if you threw me an O-H! I would respond in the appropriate manner.
