#1 - All ZOC's -- this would NOT shade all ZOC's of all units that have a ZOC. So, if a single infantry unit is in a hex, the six hexes that surround it wound not be shaded. Whereas, if an HQ were alone in a hex, all six hexes that surround it will be shaded.
#2 - All HQ's Command Range - this would be similar to the current Command Range for the selected HQ. This would use every HQ on your side. This might be comparable to highlighting detached units. I'm thinking it might be one more tool to help with the ongoing Command and Control determination. One caveat to this is, if Divisional Markings is selected, shade the area with a color that is used for each division.
