Project in the Works

Post by caseblau »

Is there project for panzer campaign project based on dawn of operation bagration, Warsaw 1944? I've read its not possible to create hex maps by lone players and I would like to contribute if there was a possibility of making huge hex map.

We could always use more map makers, but the positive new is we do have a map that could be used for Poland '1944 titles.

Our challenge right now is time to pull new titles together. We have a very long list of both new projects and upgrading existing titles.

Will there be any plans for the 1944-45 East Prussian campaign or the Oder and Berlin campaign

Dragoon 44, Mandchuria 45, and Cobra plus the following weeks might be the link with Market Garden and a part of Scheldt 44.

I would like to see something about Poland 39, but the campaign would seriously be a very long one ...

Also, we all know that France '40 is already a humongus game and a lifetime project, but one may dream to add the Tannenbaum operation (invasion of Switzerland to outflank the Maginot line) as an option or a side campaign ?

I think apart Pacific, serie needs more early stages, in the west 1939/40 (2nd part of the fall of France, Italy intervetion with war around Balkans, i think here in italo-greek war), east (Poland39, Finland39, Barbarossa in north and south, specially this area with all the fight until early 1942).

And maybe add what ifs, one to complete France40 with attack from France into Germany in 1939 and other to complete Sea Lion, for me the weaker title in the serie... i imagine something like a stalemate in the invasion of the island with intervention from other actos... Italy, USA, Ireland... leave the beach fight and center in the fight in the middle.

The what ifs could be part of a new title based in what ifs (as suggest letarsier add Tannenbaum), and add more to have a title in the line of Salerno43 BUT based in non historical situations, a title for fun and to have tactical-operational scens.

Any way every new title is wellcome.

The Balkans in 1940 and 1941 has not really been done at all sans Crete, so there is a ton of room for Greece 40 and Greece 41, or maybe Balkans 40-41, whatever they decide to call it. Also Norway may be good for both PzC and PzB. But agree both a Poland 39 and Poland 44 would be awesome. Guadalcanal 42 would be awesome! Iwo Jima 45 and Okinawa 45 would be really good, or Saipan 44. Man there is also Finland in 40, 41, and 44, Leningrad 41, Lwow 41, Kiev 41, Sevastopol 42, Cobra, Mortain, 44...

Man, I own all of the PzC series which is 27 titles, and I just listed a potential 20 more titles lol (and just thought of Khalkhin Gol 39 and Mutanchiang 45 both Soviet vs. Japan)
