When the Meditarranean?

Post by Andrea G »

Hello everybody.

First of all congratulations for the effort that you put in updating and revamping this series.
Since the coming out of Wolfpack, I have asked for more zoom in levels in order to effectively fire the K-guns, it has been done in 4.02, thank you!

Well now my next request is: when a series of games on the Mediterranean?
For sure is the second most contested sea after the pacific, with a vast arrange of different encounterrs from small skirmish to big fleet battles, convoy escort, even amphibious operations.

If there is already such a project ongoing I would like to offer my help as researcher, being the Regia Marina my foremost interest since I was a child.

While a project has been started, it is moving very slowly as our resources have shifted away from the Naval series for a while, now that all games are up to date. If you want to drop me an email at Support@wargameds.com we can see about plugging you in when the time is right.

@Andrea G

I presume you have heard about:

Available from GMT Games is Beneath the Med, the latest in their solitaire submarine series. This release, designed by Gregory M. Smith, takes the World War II action to the Mediterranean as the player will take part in Regia Marina patrols from 1940-1943. The game is solitaire

Have it-Great Game....Italian submarines are fragile. Real Challenge. I also own By Stealth and by Sea. Highly recommended. Good game play is not just on PC's.

Thanks Lethal2615 for the heads up, I have played a lot of the old "submarine" back in the '80s, now a solitaire game suits me better.

The one about the Italian "maiali" I think is unique in the hobby!

I think it would make an excellent BATTLE series game-Italian, Brit (Chariot/X-Craft/Operation Jaywick SBS/ Japanese Type A Ko-hyoteki). But WDS plate is full.
