Normandy 4.01

After the update the game starts with no taskbar. When I pick a taskbar choice the game crashes.
This is on my AMD. I have not tested on my I7. Both on Windows 11.
Can someone confirm?

This is with multiple re-installs. Kursk and the demo are fine.

I have an Intel 12th Gen + Windows 11. No problems with a clean install of Battles of Normandy 4.01 for me.
Not sure why this might be an AMD issue.

This was an update. Not a full clean install. updated from version 4.0.

Happend to me to. Win 10. All four games crashed. Had to reinstall all my old 1.0 versions....

We believe we have identified the cause, were you using the old ‘Classic’ tool bars in your titles? There is a registry entry related to those and the Classic tool bars were removed from 4.01, but we believe the registry is still looking for the old toolbar.

For all, please change from Classic Small or Classic Large if used to either None or Standard Toolbar, in your Panzer Battles installations BEFORE applying the patch. This is the easiest way to update the registry entry. We are thinking through other solutions but this is the easiest.

If you have already applied the patch, it is probably best to uninstall and reinstall using your original installer and change the Toolbar at that time. You can then either apply the patch or download the latest Game installer from your Store Account.

Updating now works on my end after this fix.....

I have the same problem with PB: Normandy and PB: Kursk. I'm on Windows10. I tried a clean 4.01 installation, but no luck. Both games start without a taskbar. As soon as I try to activate it, the game crashes and quits. Any help on this?
