Clearing map at end of turn

What was the reasoning behind clearing the map after prepping a turn for sending to my opponent?

I rather enjoyed occasionally looking at the map while waiting for my opponent's response.

What was the reasoning behind clearing the map after prepping a turn for sending to my opponent?

I rather enjoyed occasionally looking at the map while waiting for my opponent's response.

We were having issues particularly in PBEM where the map was not always resetting for the opponents turn and hence revealing all player's positions.

My suggestion, save before you hit end of turn to allow you to review in the future, and then separately save after ending turn to send to the file to your opponent.
